Wychodzi na to że Huawei zna problem i nic z nim nie zrobi.
Thank you for Contacting Huawei Customer Services.
Our GPS is a bit pickier than most systems regarding it choice of GPS system to use and only selects one to use at a time. This is to help with battery.
Galileo for some reason never gets selected, why that is, we have yet to have explained to us in Customer Services. It is available, but is the lowest priority system.
I am sorry this has interfered negatively with your hobby, which does look fun. But this issue not something we can or will be changing.
And this is what he said back to them
Thank you for explaining that the Mate 9 only uses one system at a time. That explains why it is less accurate. Other phones use two or more systems, and with Galileo and Beidou building up to global coverage there will soon be four systems to use.
This seems a very serious mistake by Huawei, and I think you should tell your developers that it is going to lose them lots of customers when this failing becomes generally known.
So, the advertising of all the GPS systems is very misleading. It is only using one of those systems at a time, and they are never going to change it.
Personally I can manage with this for the moment because it is good enough for driving with a GPS route program, but I can understand why it is not good enough for sporting apps. This explains why they won't recommend one - they know they won't work properly.
I'm going to send this to the distributor I bought my phone from. They ought to know that the Huawei advertising is misleading.
