ABSTRACT Multi-radio devices equipped with both Bluetooth and 4G broadband wireless technologies such as WiMAX or LTE are expected in the market soon. The spectrum available for 4G networks include the 2.3 GHz and 2.5 GHz frequency bands, both at close proximity to the 2.4 GHz ISM band where Bluetooth radio operates in. Several common usage cases require the simultaneous operations of co-located Bluetooth and 4G radios. However, State of Art filter/antenna technologies are unable to support co-located 4G transmissions and Bluetooth receptions at the same time. In this paper, we discuss a simple time domain coexistence solution that has low complexity and is easy to implement. Experiment results using off-the-shelf Bluetooth radios show that the proposed solution can well support common coexistence usage cases.
Bluetooth Coexistence with 4G Broadband Wireless Networks - ResearchGate.
It has been shown by the studies of 3GPP that for some specific frequency bands, concurrent operations of LTE and ISM/GNSS radios working in adjacent or sub-harmonic frequencies will result in significant in-device coexistence interference that cannot be completely eliminated by filter technology
Bluetooth and 4G (LTE) famously don’t get on: their signals interfere degrading one another’s performance and draining battery life. Bluetooth 4.1 eliminates this by coordinating its radio with 4G automatically so there is no overlap and both can perform at their maximum potential. Given most phones will come with 4G next year this is a vital improvement.
Jakieś rady ? Da się ten problem obejść ?
