We are looking for2 candidates for the position of (Senior) Java Developer to join theDigital Channels division.
Our client is experiencing fast growth and provides financial technology including system operation and data processing for more than 120 banks in the Scandinavian region.
Key responsibilities:
You will be part of the Digitalization department’s Polish nearshore team. The department is in a phase where the nearshore team is in a build-up phase;
You will thrive with both project and maintenance work as it is expected that the position will include a combination of both;
You will work independently and facilitate the dialogue with various stakeholders at our client’s side regarding system development;
You will take ownership for one of four systems and will be involved in both project and maintenance work within the Digitalization department. The four systems are: electronic registration of debt in a centralized public register, digital signing, and digital agreements. The systems are highly important to the customers of our client as they are a key part of the customer journey;
The tasks are often cross functional, that is why you would be expected to have strong collaboration skills and outgoing personality is of importance too;
The department uses Agile processes which includes backlog refinement meetings, daily standups and monthly retrospective.
Key requirements / your profile:
BSc/BA degree, IT or finance (preferred but not a must);
Excellent programming skills in Java (at least 4+ years of experience);
Experience in designing, building, and maintaining IT solutions;
Previous experience within the banking domain (an important nice to have);
Tech. stack (knowledge required): GIT, JQuery, JSON, Spring, XSL/XML, Maven, Junit, J2EE and JSE, TFS, SQL, WebLogic;
Integration experience;
Experience with working in Agile/Scrum based environments;
Excellent analytical mindset;
Knowledge and experience within component-based development;
Tech-lead / leadership potential would be appreciated;
Experience in project work disciplines, from requirements specification to implementation;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, knowledge of either Danish, Swedish or Norwegian will be a tremendous advantage;
Readiness for travel to Denmark which can occur (max. few days/month);
EU citizenship, Polish candidates preferred (we will considered only EU candidates).
